As a younger adult, I used to try to imagine the type of woman I’d like to marry… the type of woman I’d want to grow old with… the type of woman I’d love till death do us part. Curiously, I now contemplate with growing concern the type of woman that would want to marry me, grow old with me, spend the rest of her life with me. If marriage is a sentence, I’d hate to believe I were the punishment.
